Video Editor Intern
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce video content for social media platforms and marketing use. This includes refining raw footage, color grading, audio mixing, and adding special effects.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts for video content that align with our clients’ needs and objectives.
- Stay informed about the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure our video content remains relevant and engaging.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Perform post-production tasks such as color correction, sound design, and final editing to enhance video quality.
- Create and maintain video libraries and archives for easy access to past projects.
- Design and animate motion graphics to enhance the visual appeal of video projects.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure video quality standards are consistently met.
- Participate in team meetings, providing updates on project progress and offering support to the marketing team when needed.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and other audio elements into video projects to enhance their impact.
- Export and deliver final video files in the required format.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Familiarity with video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Basic knowledge of video production and post-production workflows.
- A bachelor’s degree in design, video editing, or a related field (or in progress).
- Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Understanding of storytelling and its application in video content.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for video content.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is typically required.
